I feel like there were a couple of things that got glossed over, characters that got abandoned, but not a huge deal. I really enjoyed this one, full of nostalgia as well.. An amazing game series ruined by horrible mini-games and a 'was that it' ending.I've really enjoyed this series so far and still liked most of this game. They improved the walking speed and jumping to exits. But man, the bad side and this was killer - the mini-games are atrocious. At several points while playing I was so frustrated, I had to leave, not just the computer but my house! For example, at one point there's a mini game to reassemble a skeleton. I took time and did it, no result. Multiple attempts later, even after checking my layout with online guides and pictures of the solution, to which it was identical, but for some reason the game would just not accept it. One piece must have been off by millimeters, didn't matter. The same issue occurs when drawing "walking lines" on the map, off by a millimeter? Game doesn't tell you, it just refuses to let Adrian go down the path you know you have to go down. Granted you can eventually skip some puzzles but it feels so unjustified to do so after all your work on the puzzle. So moving past that, game play is nice, story continues to be interesting, winding up to a pretty cool ending area always hinting at the final big confrontation, then it fizzles out like a dollar store sparkler. I reached down to pet my cat and pretty much missed the whole 6 seconds of final battle video. That's the climax? 3 games of building story line just to end like that? Ugggggg! Maybe it was one of those, they ran out of money things, but man, I'm so let down.Don't let this game hurt you the way it hurt me. Go into it with extremely low expectations.. Some roughness in item useage on this one but overall still good.. Joint review for Black MIrror I, II and III:I highly recommend finishing Black Mirror I before starting II and III.BM I is harder, more outdated, and tends to crash if you alt-tab in the game, so save often and you may need a walkthrough. A lot of it is "hidden object" type of gaming and the objects are sometimes unfairly hidden IMHO. But something about the old style of this game makes it even more creepy, possibly more than the next two in some ways.BM II and III were produced around the same time and are more modernized, with better graphics. They are a bit more fair and a walkthrough is not quite as necessary as with the first. The protagonist can be somewhat unlikeable if you don't like happy-go-lucky drifter kids with Boston accents. There's an option in BM II and III where you can show all clickable areas on the screen.Overall good stories and puzzles, and a bit of a sense of humor. But mostly these are mysterious games where you are constantly looking for something, or someone. The endings of BM I and II are very good, the ending for BM III is of course more final but also somehow less satisfying than you would expect (given we are dealing with dark magic stuff it feels pretty made-up.). Fantastic game!. Probably the best of the "trilogy" of Black Mirror. Not a "classic", but a good, well written, adventure game.Pity for the final, a little too "fast", I think.. This game is pure sh*t. My game was bugged in the catacomb chamber so I wasn't able to go on and I had to finish it on youtube. This can't happen in a good game, nor in a Graphic Adventure, where the triggers chain is very simple. Apart from this, the game was already going bad, too many illogic and hard beyond necessary puzzles, and I played a lot of GA, I know what I'm talking about. It did can have a mediocre mark but this huge deal breaks down everything. Game 1 was already very, very bad but game 2 had been able to rise it and game 3 was doing a good job on the same line, but all these things breaked the saga down.
